Don't believe everything you've been hearing -- Joni Mitchell may actually be on mend!
The legendary singer, known for her hits like Big Yellow Taxi and Both Sides, Now, was rumored to have been in a coma after being found unconscious in her El Lay home on at the end of March, but now we're starting to hear more comforting news.
While initial reports in late April said she was in a coma and unresponsive, the 71-year-old is reportedly still in the hospital, but is actually completely responsive and alert.
Joni was a lifelong smoker, and also claimed to have been suffering from Morgellons -- an unexplained skin disorder that causes lesions and itching, which may have caused her hospitalization.

The confusion about her health began when... Joni gave her friend Leslie Morris the authority to make any important decisions in case the situation became dire, but that became a factor.
Rolling Stone calls Joni one of the "greatest songwriters ever," and she won eight Grammys spanning from 1969 to 2007 in folk and pop categories, so we're glad to hear she's okay!
We'll keep you updated if we hear anything else about this roller coaster of a story.
