WWE star Roman Reigns will miss Sunday’s Night of Champions match with Seth Rollins after undergoing emergency surgery to repair an incarcerated hernia Saturday in Nashville. In an interview on the WWE Network, Reigns explained that he suddenly felt a persistent sharp pain, and called 911. At the hospital in Nashville, doctors determined Reigns needed immediate surgery.
WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann explained on WWE.com that Reigns was already competing with a hernia, but it has worsened to the point that Reigns could no longer wrestle without surgery.
