LOS ANGELES - After accusations surfaced Tuesday that "7th Heaven" star Stephen Collins had molested several girls, the LAPD responded to reports of a single gunshot at a home owned by the actor. But the actor was not home at the time and the LAPD confirmed to ABC News that he was not at the residence.
A neighbour, Donna D'Errico, tweeted that the actor shot himself as the LAPD arrived in force at his Tarzana home.
"That guy from '7th Heaven' lives right around the corner from me & just shot himself a few minutes ago," she wrote.
